We will need all sculptures by October 1 in advance of the tentative October 15th Preview Party date, so that the sculptures can be prepped for their bases and staged for the Preview Party. Streetcars will be featured on CREW artLOUD’s Facebook Page, on other social media outlets, on artLOUD.org, and in maps that we will create showing sculpture locations. There are plans for including these maps in various guides and other promotional materials for the area provided that funding for the project will cover these costs. We will also do media buys and seek promotions on other visitor forums and local outlets to promote the streetcars and their sponsors to the greatest extent possible. The regular and significant recognition of the streetcars benefits artLOUD! and our sponsors alike.

Remaining funds go to benefit the Tampa Streetcar, future artLOUD! programs, and to support CREW Tampa Bay in its mission to promote women in the commercial real estate industry.

Everyone needs to provide a sketch of their concept for our review prior to beginning to paint the sculpture. If we note problems with the sketch, we will let you know and talk about how the design can be modified to make sure the City art reviewers do not have any concerns about its display in the public right of way.

The manufacturer will provide a tip sheet that should cover most questions about getting the best artistic results. All streetcars should anticipate doing a UV protective top coat to last the year or more in the Florida sunshine. We highly recommend doing an automotive grade clear coat as the finish.
